Marcelo's style has been influenced by the work of abstract expressionist painters. His paintings reveal feelings, emotions, spontaneity and creativity that reflects their conscious and unconscious, sometimes from a mystical look. Value of artistic freedom and improvisation.
Although Marc began to paint a piece with some ideas in your mind, you never know what will be the final product until the work is completed. His creative process is free and therefore discover the true essence of each of his paintings as you are doing. Its main objective is to provide a subtle expression of what he feels or thinks about events, people, current or himself. Even when he paints visual images based on real, the result is always an abstract work. Marcelo uses power and expressive potential of color in a dynamic balance to transmit a variety of thoughts and emotions: intelligence, kindness, serenity, happiness, sadness, order, chaos, etc ..., a peculiar language that talks about the important issues of our lives. In essence, his paintings speak of the mental and moral attitudes that influence our lives. He has exhibited his paintings in Argentina and the United States.
Marcelo has received several awards in his career and educative work, among others, grants from the following organizations: Fulbright, Organization of American States, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (MAEC-AECI) Columbia University, Ministry of Education of Argentina, and was recently awarded the Fellowship Chancellor's Fellowship from the Ministry of Education of the City of New York.
